Medic Vision developed a proprietary patented image reconstruction algorithm, which dramatically enhances the SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio) of noisy MRI images, acquired by conventional MRI scanners. Medic Vision’s proprietary state-of-the-art SNR increase algorithm is a non-linear volumetric algorithm that preserves image edges and detail.
Medic Vision's MRI technology, iQMR, exploits and uses similarities between adjacent slices, and between various contrasts in the same scan for further improvement of the images.
Medic Vision’s volumetric image enhancement algorithms require tremendous computational effort and the runtime on a standard CPU may take days to complete. Medic Vision has developed a parallel-processing capability, based on which the algorithm is implemented it over multiple Graphical Processing Units (GPUs), with sophisticated GPU optimizations. With that, image enhancement is performed in real-time.

Shorter scan time
MRI examination time is equivalent to CT radiation dose. MRI examination time can be effectively reduced at the expense of lower Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR). Medic Vision's technology can then be used for post-processing noisy MRI images acquired by short protocols to enhance the image quality for an optimum diagnosis.
Resolution in MRI exams can be traded for SNR. The resolution of a MRI scans can be increased at the expense of lower SNR.
